Starting a Fitness Plan for Women Over 40

Four years ago , I was exactly the same place . Even though I was only 40 it was a few years ago, I just had my second child and age of 25 kg.

One day I decided , after seeing a picture of me posted on Facebook that was enough . Before that , I honestly do not know how I became great . So my problem became , what do I do now? Where do I start ? I had never played a sport , has never made ​​a serious training in my life and I had no idea what to do .

After doing a little research on the Internet , I tried to do a home program with a team gym heart my husband . To support that I did with a friend who also wanted to increase their physical condition.

How are we doing ? Terrible! Coffee and a chat is more often or not our training.

So how do I get there, because of my own gym , instructing yoga classes , cardio classes and lessons cycling weight and get in better shape than I was as a woman 40 years ?

I did it one day at a time, one workout at a time, one sitting, push up , squat and so on at the same time . I stopped watching the whole situation and started taking baby steps .

My first real training was with my husband, who was a local sports team, which consisted of me not being able to do a sit and a push up , I do not even know how to make one properly. Then he asked me to run around the oval and all he could muster a moderate pace market . It was a very funny time .

I give up? I was there the next training session. I show great improvement ? No, but I was able to do 2 is to sit down and give it a little shake for a short period of time. That 's how I approached all practices of the time, so ask my body plus 1 or 30 seconds each time . I have not always been able to grow, but consistently over time I got to where I wanted to go .

Fitness is always a work in progress , such as health care. It is particularly important for women 40 and older , as we age we face many problems such as menopause and osteoporosis , the exercise can help. In fact, I think your overall health is the best reason in the world to increase your fitness .

After the training is 100 people , most of whom were all -out for the first time , the only advice I give is to be patient . Your health and fitness is not a solution of 6 months. It is a lifetime commitment .

Doing the little things constantly , walking the dog for 15 minutes more , go to the park with the kids, ask your friends to come to the beach with you , make an extra 2 minutes on the treadmill or one king to sit , what you want, and your body moving .

 Keep your attention on a daily basis and before you know it you'll be where you want to be, or at least much less on their way. Of course the big picture in mind the goal , but make sure you celebrate every bit of work you do as an activator for the overall health and well-being.
